Show SearchTool
Let’s you view or hide the main screen. It hides itself as a little icon in your traybar. Double click on the icon to make it appear again on your desktop. -top-


Open in same window
(If available)
If you like to view new results in the same browser window instead opening a new browser window this option does the work for you. The searchTool detects if the browser is willing to give you this option. If not the searchtool hides the option. -top-


Search Exact
Search with exact search query. -top-


SafeSearch
Search results without any adult sites (or less adult sites) . -top-


Relevance Filter / Date*for groups only
This filters bogus info /links/ websites in WWW search.
If you uncheck this option for searching in groups it shows the results sorted by date. -top-


Search in this language only
Choose between one of the 27 languages to search in.  Contains almost all languages and some Google humour like: The Swedish chef and hackers language. -top-


Image Options

Search advanced in images: By choosing the File type, Size and coloration -top-


Use raw Google mode
This lets you see the results with only the titles. -top-


Time Search options:

Search in groups between now and: Works for search in groups only: Return messages posted at a timeframe.
Return webpage updated in the: Shows results with the latest updated website. -top-


Page output
You can change the number of results which will be displayed (10,25,50 or 100) in the browser window. Default is 10 -top-


SearchTool Options:


Result Language Output
Choose one of the 66 result languages. Set the Google resultpage, messages, and buttons to display in your selected language -top-


History

Clear History: Clears all search queries.
Don't save history: Enable this if you dont want to keep a history when you close the tool.-top-


Start-up with windows
Very handy if you like to start the GoogleSearchTool up when windows starts. -top-


Always on top
With this enabled the tool stays on top of the result window. -top-


Hide on search
Hides the searchtool after you enter a search query. -top-


Transparency
If you have windows 2000 or Windows XP you maybe like to use the transparency option. Users of other platforms do not see this option. -top-


Style
There are 3 styles.. The normal border style, the toolwindow style and the skinny syle. You can also customize the tool colors. -top-


Enable Custom browser

With this option you would be able to use the SearchTool with your Custom browser.
First pick a browser from the dropdown list.
Then enter the Path to your browser. Example: C:\program files\Myie2\myie2.exe.
You can try to detect your browsers path by clicking on the button with >> on it. The
Filepopup should apear, browse to the folder/directory of the custom browser and pick out the browsers startup executable.
Now if you do a search with the SearchTool your custom browser displays the results.
Be sure to pick the right name from the Dropdownbox or the tool could give you strange results.. -top-


Enable Splash screen
This would enable/disable the splash screen at startup

Auto check for update
This allows the tool to check for an update. -top-


SearchTool Language
This option lets you pick a different language. If your language is not available check the website to see if it is available in your language. It is possibel to customize it for you language... -top-


Enable Counter
This will count your search hits. You can view them in the about. Hits will be send to the GGSearch server when you do your first search action. When you go to the GGSearch website you can view the total hits made by all SearchTools. Your own hits will be viewable in the About. -top-


Theme

Change the theme to see different icons. You can also make a custom theme in the \skins\custom installation directory. Look on the website howto make a theme yourself. -top-

Tip:
The SearchTool uses Mouse hints to help you on your way ;) Hints show up in the status bar. -top-
